2010 is the year to visit to buy 2009 wine. We can arrange visits to local vineyards. A favourite with our visitors is Chateau Tour Montbrun, Mylene and Philippe Poivey. They will take time to show you around their Chai, explain the process of wine making and let you sample. Of course you can buy from them as well. Philippe and Mylène's wine regularly wins medal awards, particularly his wonderful Rosé. He also has listings in Le Guide Hachette. Pretty good going for a 2 person operation! Their property is located on the site of the Roman citadel overlooking the valley of the Dordogne river. Great views to go with trying the wine! |
